Wood Windows can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (opened by typing "Q" as the default key), after the according crafting-recipe has been unlocked by taking (blocks of) Glass for the first time which can be made from Sand in a Forge with some Fuel.
To craft 4 Wood Windows at once, you'll need (as of R26 in December 2015):
- 1 Stone Rod made of Stone, Limestone or Bedrock in a Processor or found in Stone Treasure Chests
- 4 (blocks of) Glass made of Sand in a Forge
- 4 Wood Rods made of any kind of Wood or Logs in a Processor
By crafting/taking Wood Windows for the first time, the recipe for Stone Windows will be unlocked.
Currently windows cannot be found in the game-worlds of Creativerse as items (cannot be discovered in Treasure Chests nor obtained from any Creatures). However, a few crafting-recipes for special kinds of windows can be found as rare Recipes.
If you place windows next to each other, they will "combine" to a larger window as can be seen on the according picture in this article. All kinds of Windows can be rotated, but only sideways. They cannot be laid down nor used as a horizontal roof window (yet, as of R26 in December 2015).
Attention: Wood Windows are inflammable! Be careful when placing Wood Windows into hot environments like Savannahs and letting them touch fire or fiery blocks (like Hardened Lava), as that could ignite them. Liquid Lava and Fire Bombs will immediately set them on fire. If Wood Windows start burning, also other inflammable blocks nearby can catch fire, and this way even a whole forest (especially Jungles, Parchwood and Shorewood) or a wooden house can burn down in the worst case in warm to hot biomes.
