Basic information[]
The Springheel Potion is a potion that doubles your speed and jump height, but also increases the damage you take by 50%. It was added during the Halloween event of 2020.
Unlike most other potions, Springheel Potions can be put into displays, where it will be shown as a round pink vial with a brown cork and a leather strap.
How to obtain[]
Springheel Potions can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (to be opened by pressing "q" as the default key), but only after obtaining the corresponding crafting recipe from The Great Pumpkiru, either during a Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign Halloween event, or by summoning The Great Pumpkiru with a Mysterious Bauble.
How to unlock the crafting recipe[]
The rare crafting Recipe for Springheel Potions can be bought from Pumpkiru Jr. or The Great Pumpkiru. It cost 200 Pumpkiru Candy during the 2020 Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign.
You can learn all of the rare crafting Recipes that you can obtain either by clicking on their icon in your inventory/bag with the right mouse button (by default).
Then the crafting Recipe will vanish from your inventory and a message will appear telling you that you have successfully learnt this rare Recipe. You can then find it in your Crafting Menu, where it will be permanently available, even on worlds with the "Pro" world option "world-bound recipes" enabled.
If you already know this rare Recipe and obtain it again, the new one will have a check mark over its icon and you cannot learn it a second time.
How to craft[]
To craft 3 Springheel Potions, you'll need:
- 1 Arcstone obtained as loot or pet harvest from any kind of Keepas or Baby Leafis
- 1 Water found on the surface or obtained as loot from Karrotfishes
- 1 Trog Horn obtained as loot or pet harvest from Trogs
How to use[]
Use this potion by putting a (stack of) Springheel Potion(s) into any quickslot, then selecting this slot and clicking your right mouse button.
Alternatively you can drag a (stack of) Springheel Potion(s) from the inventory over your character's portrait on the right side.
When consumed, an Springheel Potion will double your jump height and increase your speed by 100% of your unmodified speed. It will also increase the damage you take, either from combat or from effects such as burning or poison, by 50%. On the other hand, it also increases the effect of any heal-over-time effects (such as from eating Mushrooms or standing in Mineral Water by 50% as well. The effects stack with any other potion with the same effects, e.g. consuming it together with an Armored Tortoise Potion will give you 50% increased speed, slightly lowered jump height and a 25% reduction of damage.
Unlike most other potions, Springheel Potions can be put into displays, where it will be shown as a round pink vial with a brown cork and a leather strap. If the display is painted, the primary color will affect the color of the vial, and the secondary color will affect the color of the cork and leather strap.
