Basic information and overview[]

Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign was introduced for the first time as the Halloween event 2017 that started on October 18th 2017 and ended on November 15th 2017.

It was launched for the second time on October 24th 2018 until November 14th 2018; and returned a third time on October 17th 2019 until November 19th 2019.

Ever since 2018, Pumpkiru's Candy Campaing came without Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign (that counted the event progress of all players in order to unlock Community rewards) and without the original three types of animated Treasure Chests that once offered random Halloween-related content and could be traded from the Pumpkirus during the Halloween event in 2017.

Instead, in 2018 all Halloween specific items and Recipes could be traded directly from the Pumpkirus for Pumpkiru Candy, plus 6 new Costume skins and three rare Recipes for Goo Cauldrons (Green Goo Cauldron, Orange Goo Cauldron and Purple Goo Cauldron).

In 2019, all Halloween-themed items, seasonal Recipes and Costumes from 2018 were offered by the Pumpkirus again, plus 5 new items and their rare Recipes: Spooky Candles, Spooky Pedestals, Spooky Skulls, Spooky Benches and Spooky Cauldrons.

Even the originally very rare Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign related Recipes for Pumpkin Chests, Royal Pumpkin Chests, Pumpkiru's King Chests, Candy Skull Banners, Candy Skull Statues, Yellow Candy Skull Candles, Blue Candy Skull Candles, Red Candy Skull Candles and (3 grouped) Candy Skull Candles can now be traded directly from the Pumpkirus.

However, Bat Juice and Marigold Potions are still non-craftable "collectible" rare consumables (just like Love Potions around Valentine's Day and Jingle Juice as well as Blizzard Potions around Christmas), also Costumes of course still cannot be crafted either.

Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign 2018 and 2019[]

The Halloween month consists of several parts:

  • one Halloween-specific Idol Login Chest can be claimed ca. every 4 hours from the main game screen (before entering a game world), starting with two chests at a time initially. These Idol Login Chest can then be claimed on any game world from the inventory and will always contain 2 Haunted Idolsand 2 Bat Juice potions additionally to the "common" additional useful stuff of ordinary Login Chests (Super Extractors, Arcstones, Explosive Bombs, Flares)
  • Ghost Creatures appear every ingame night on the surface of all Creativerse game worlds during Halloween event-times and can be hunted (killed) in order to collect their Ghost Loot Bags that will rarely contain 1 Haunted Idol, but will often contain 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy and 3-4 stacks of random items and/or consumables (see below). All Ghost Creatures require 3 hits with any melee Weapon to be killed, even by a Twig that does not lose durability. Also 3 AOE Gauntlet Smashes, 3 Rimecones or 2 Explosives that deal elemental damage over time (including Snowcubes) are sufficient to kill one Ghost Creature. Ghost Creatures can be tamed since October 24th 2018, except of course for Ghost Creatures that are spawned by a Mob Spawner
  • Haunted Idols from Idol Login Chests (or from building kits for Blueprints made from placed Idols) can be placed in order to immediately summon red colored aggressive large Creatures that had to be defeated (killed). The specific event goals can differ and are described by onscreen messages. Usually waves of aggressive large red colored Creatures have to be killed, or in other cases, several summoned Creatures have to be killed within a certain timespan (Wraithworms). Each participating player usually obtains a ghostly reward chest after the Creatures have been defeated successfully (within the set timespan). Players can also find Idols and Pumpkiru Candy in Ghost Loot Bags that Idol Event Creatures rarely drop. When the event is interrupted and/or left by all participating players, it will end without bestowing rewards
  • The reward chest for the Haunted Idol event (tier 1) does not only contain Pumpkiru Candy, Halloween-themed items and other useful stuff, but very often also 1 Infused Haunted Idol that can then be placed to immediately summon even stronger Creatures (tier 2) and/or "Boss" Creatures that have to be defeated
  • The reward chest for Infused Haunted Idol events will then contain even more Pumpkiru Candy and random useful stuff, as well as occasionally 1 Unleashed Haunted Idol that can once more be placed to immediately summon high-tier Halloween Creatures to be defeated, or sometimes the Idol itself that will become corrupted and spawn more and more Creatures. At very rare occasions, ghostly loot chests appear for a few seconds to be collected as a variation to the usual event types
  • the rewards for Unleashed Idol events are even better of course with even more Pumpkiru Candy and useful items, but usually these reward chests do not include any more Idols, only rarely Infused Idols (tier 2)
  • During ingame night-times and only for as long as the Halloween event is running, several The Great Pumpkirus and (much more rarely) additional Pumpkiru Jr.s randomly spawn on the surface within a certain proximity around player chracters. Players are able to find these Pumpkirus by following the Pumpkiru head symbol on their compass that pops up whenever a Pumpkiru appears as far as a certain distance. By travelling the land, players can make more Pumpkirus spawn, or they can summon The Great Pumpkiru anytime by using a Mysterious Bauble that can be traded from the Pumpkirus. The Pumpkirus were the first type of NPCs (traders) that were introduced to Creativerse in October 2017
  • Players can activate Pumpkirus like Pets, Storage Chests, Crafting Stations, Doors etc. by right-click or "f" (as the default key) while looking at them with the cursor, and can then trade in the collected Pumpkiru Candy in order to "buy" Halloween specific costumes, items and rare crafting Recipes for Halloween items. Also Marigold Potions and Bat Juice can be "bought" for Pumpkiru Candy; both of these collectible seasonal rare potions can not be crafted

Idol Login Chests 2018 and 2019[]

Between October 24th 2018 and November 14th 2018, and again during the third Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign from October 17th 2019 until November 19th 2019, every Creativerse player could receive 2 Haunted Idols and 2 Bat Juice potions when clicking on the icon "Free Chest" on the main game screen before entering a game world.

Another free Idol Login Chest would then be unlocked 4 hours after claiming both Idol Login Chests, and a second Idol Login Chest another 4 hours (8 hours in total) after that.

Only after claiming one or both of these Idol Login Chests, 4 hours later another Idol Login Chest became available. As soon and as long as both Idol Login Chests were unclaimed, no timer for more Idol Login Chests was active/running.

Idol Login Chests for Pumpkiru's Campaign came in four known random variations.

Ghost Creatures 2018 and 2019[]

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign between October 24th 2018 and November 14th 2018, and during the third Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign from October 17th 2019 until November 19th 2019, in the night (starting with ingame time 10:37 - 10:47 PM), Ghost Creatures started spawning on the surface of all Creativerse game worlds on natural solid blocks in unlit areas within a certain proximity around player characters: Ghost Pigsies, Ghost Leafies, Ghost Chizzards and Ghost Rocksters.

Ghost Mirus also very rarely spawned underground on natural blocks in dark areas to be then encountered by player who explored Caves.

Ghost Creatures that can also be spawned on Mob Spawners will usually flee when player characters approach and won't fight back when being hit. When killed during Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, every Ghost Creature that spawned "in the wild" would drop a Ghost Loot bag that could rarely contain 1 Haunted Idol and nothing else.

More often, their Ghost Loot bags would contain 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy (tradeable for Halloween-themed rare Recipes, crafted items and Costumes at any of the Pumpkirus that spawned in the night), plus 3-4 stacks of random items and consumables:

Since the first Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign in 2017, Ghost Creatures (Ghost Pigsies, Ghost Leafies, Ghost Chizzards, Ghost Rocksters and Ghost Mirus) require 3 hits with any melee Weapon to be killed, even with just a Twig that has infinite durability. Any other melee weapon than the Twig will lose durability and in the end break when fighting Ghost Creatures.

The occasional critical hits dealt by players who have achieved the Brawler Badge do not make a difference at all if it comes to Ghost Creatures - these Creatures will still always require 3 hits dealt by any melee Weapon. In like manner, 3 AOE Gauntlet Smashes have to be performed in order to kill Ghost Creatures.

Also, 3 common Explosives like Explosive Bombs and Vlad-a-Rangs will have to be thrown to kill Ghost Creatures, but 3 mere Rimecones and even 3 Stun Bombs will be equally lethal to them. If you use Explosives that deal additional elemental damage over time, you will only need 2 of them if you can manage to hit Ghost Creatures directly, including Snowcubes. Globs of Goo will only slow these Creatures down though.

It is recommended to use an expendable weapon when hunting many Ghost Creatures or else to entirely remove the current weapon to fight with the unbreakable Twig instead (simply click on the weapon in your weapon equipment slot next to your player character model to the right side of the inventory).

Rare Ghost Creatures like Ghost Mirus and uncommon Ghost Creatures like Ghost Chizzards or Ghost Rocksters did not drop Ghost Loot bags more often than more common Ghost Creatures like Ghost Pigsies or Ghost Leafies, they did not have a higher chance to drop Haunted Idols, more Pumpkiru Candy nor would their Ghost Loot bags contain any "better" nor more random loot.

Ghost Creatures will start to burst into blue flames in the morning (starting at 5:12) when sunlight hits them, wich also applies to player-spawned Ghost Creatures (by using a Mob Spawner) and will quickly burn away, even faster than common Night Creatures. Ghost Creatures would not drop any Ghost Loot bags in this case, except if they were player-spawned and players had placed items into the inventory of the Mob Spawner.

Please note that any Ghost Creature that you or other players will spawn on/with a Mob Spawner will not drop any loot if you or other players won't provide any items for this yourselves.

Ghost Creatures can be healed by being purified with Purification Bombs, Healing Beacons or Mineral Water.

Taming Ghost Creatures[]

Since October 24th 2018, Ghost Creatures that spawn in the wild during event-times could be tamed - by equipping a Taming Collar, pointing the cursor at a Ghost Creature and holding the left mouse-button for 5 seconds (or 7,5 seconds only for Ghost Mirus) without being interrupted. Taming Creatures that are spawned on a Mob Spawner is not possible though.

To accomplish this, either cornering Ghost Creatures or stunning them with Stun Bombs (carefully, since too many of these bombs can kill them) or slowing them down by throwing Globs of Goo at them was recommended.

After having been tamed in 5 seconds, Ghost Leafies will prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite food and their pet-harvest can randomly consist of 1-3 Leafi Leaves (not always!), 1-3 Vines, 1-3 Yellow Flowers, 1-3 Sinews (more often than other Creatures), 1-3 Globs of Goo, 1-3 Bones and/or rarely 1 piece of Leather.

After having been tamed in 5 seconds, Ghost Pigsies will prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite food and their pet-harvest consists of 1-6 Pigsy Droppings (always when fed well), plus randomly 1-3 pieces of Leather, 1-3 Bones, 1-3 Globs of Goo, 1-3 Sinews and/or 1-2 Crystal Shards.

After having been tamed in 5 seconds, Ghost Rocksters will prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite food and their pet-harvest consists of 1-3 Rockster Rocks (always when fed well), plus randomly 1-2 (blocks of) Corals, 1-2 (blocks of) Magnetite, 1-2 (blocks of) Mud, 1-3 Bones, 1-3 Sinews and/or 1-3 Globs of Goo.

After having been tamed in 5 seconds, Ghost Chizzards will prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite food and their pet-harvest can consist of Chizzard Eggs (always when fed well), plus randomly 1-3 Chizzard Gizzards (often), and/or sometimes 1-3 Blue Flowers, 1-3 Sinews, 1-3 Bones and/or 1-3 Globs of Goo.

After having been tamed in 7,5 seconds, Ghost Mirus will prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite food and their pet-harvest can consist of 1-3 Miru Eyes (always when fed well), plus randomly 1-3 Brown Mushrooms, 1-3 Bones, 1-3 Globs of Goo, and/or rarely 1-3 Glowing Mushrooms.

Haunted Idols[]

First-level challenges[]

Between October 24th 2018 and November 14th 2018, and again during the third Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign from October 17th 2019 until November 19th 2019, every Creativerse player could take 2 Haunted Idols ca. every 4 hours from another free claimable Idol Login Chest as long as the Halloween event was ongoing.

Also, any Idols that are still left (or can be obtained in any way) after the end of Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign will still continue to initiate Idol Events throughout the whole year. Addiotionally, Idols can be obtained in theoretically infinite amounts by purchasing building kits for Blueprints that were made from placed Idols.

As soon as one of these Idols is placed onto the ground, a combat event will immediately begin. It does not have to be night to start the events, and sunlight will not kill the Creatures that are summoned by the Idol. Instead, the sky and air around the Idol will go darker and more violet in color all by itself as long as the event lasts.

Idols cannot be deactivated and they cannot be wired to be activated at a later time.

One of several optional combat events will be randomly chosen - players cannot influence which one will.

Most often, players will have to defeat a certain amount of large red-colored aggressive Creatures summoned by the Idol, sometimes within a certain timespan (like for the "Whack-a-Worm" event).

The challenges of Idol Events can be bested alone or together as a team of players.

Idols of all kinds can be bought via block kits for player-made Blueprints that you can find in the Steam workshop for Creativerse. Building kits have to be paid with Coins that can be bought with real money in the Store.

Typical red Boss Mobs that will appear during this first (easiest) stage are: Eidoleafies, Poultrygeists, Polturpigsies, Hauntsters, Wraithworms and rarely Soulkeepas. These Creatures only require 3 hits with either an Obsidian Sword, an Iron-level Sword, a Diamond-level Sword or a Lumite-level Sword to be killed. The stronger Creatures require more hits, but also just the same amount of hits with either an Obsidian Sword or any stronger Weapon.

Do not use weaker Weapons (Twig, Wood Sword, Stone Sword) for red ghostly event Creatures, because you will need to hit a lot more often with those! You can use these for white Ghost Creatures, because they only require 3 hits with ANY melee Weapon, but since the Weapon will lose durability when used on Ghost Creatures, a Twig is best. Red ghostly event Creatures will not influence the durability of your melee Weapon.

All event rewards for successfully completed events will be "instanced" so that everyone that helped with the event will get their own loot chest.

Tier 1 Idol Events[]

Bushel of Eidoleafis[]

4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Leafis called "Eidoleafis" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Usually the first wave consists of 1 Eidoleafi spawning at first, the next wave of two Eidoleafies spawning at a time, then three for waves 3+4. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn

Polturpigsy Horde[]

4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Pigsies called "Polturpigsies" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Usually one wave consists of 3 Polturpigsies spawning at a time, but sometimes less, rarely even only one at first, then two, then three for waves 3+4. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn

The Otherworldly Meat[]

4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Chizzards called "Poultrygeists" will appear and have to be defeated. Usually one wave consists of 3 Poultrygeists spawning at a time, but sometimes less, rarely even only one at first, then two, then three for waves 3+4. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn

A Haunt of Hauntsters[]

4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Rocksters called "Hauntsters" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Usually one wave consists of 3 Hauntsters spawning at a time, but sometimes less, rarely even only one at first, then two, then three for waves 3+4. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn

Eidoleafi Train[]

10 large red colored aggressive Leafis called "Eidoleafis" will appear one after another and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

Polturpigsy Parade

10 (weak) large red colored aggressive Pigsies called "Polturpigsies" will appear one after another and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

Chicken Chaser[]

10 large red colored aggressive Chizzards called "Poultrygeists" will appear one after another and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

Rock N' Roll[]

10 large red colored aggressive Rocksters called "Hauntsters" will appear one after another and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

Whack-a-Worm []

ca. 12 red colored large aggressive Warmworms called "Wraithworms" will appear one after another on the same level/altitude as the Idol and will have to be defeated within ca. 60 seconds. Only after one Wraithworm has been defeated, the next one will randomly spawn somewhere close by or a bit further away. Wraithworms will spawn in a radius of up to 16 blocks around the placed Idol into every direction. They can mistakenly spawn on flat items like Wood Signs or even in Teleporters in the shape of flat transparently red blotches that cannot be killed. If this happens, sometimes the Wraithworm will quickly spawn somewhere else where it can be killed though.

A hotfix has been provided for this event in 2017, so that players with bugged timers (starting the events with much less than 60 seconds) will still get the reward, even though the timer might run out long before the last Wraithworm has been killed.

Soulkeepa Party[]

this event can only extremely rarely be initiated by common Haunted Idols as a tier 1 event. Several (sometimes only 4) red small Keepas called "Soulkeepas" will spawn and have to be "caught" (killed) before the timer (as displayed in the top left part of the screen, ca. 60 seconds) runs out. Soulkeepas are unresisting flight animals that will often run away from players as far as they can. No Ghost Treasure Chest will spawn after this event is done, instead the special Ghost Loot Bags of the Soulkeepas will contain Pumpkiru Candy, randomly Glowing Mushrooms, Gunpowder, Bones, Basic Health Potions and rarely also an Infused Haunted Idol

Rewards for Tier 1 Idol Events[]

As soon as players manage to accomplish this event goal, the Idol will transform into a Haunted Ghost Treasure Chest that will contain:

Some of the red giant Creatures that players kill can occasionally drop Ghost Loot bags that will contain pretty much the same things that common Ghost Creatures drop in their Ghost Loot bags, but more often Super Excavators, Super Extractors and/or Corrupt Obelisks than common Ghosts will drop.

Ghost Loot bags dropped by giant red ghostly Idol Event Creatures will contain:

Second-level challenges[]

The next level of challenges can be taken on after obtaining Infused Haunted Idols that can mainly be obtained from Haunted Ghost Treasure reward chests after beating the bosses that were summoned with Haunted Idols.

Idols of all kinds can be bought via block kits for player-made Blueprints that you can find in the Steam workshop for Creativerse. Building kits have to be paid with Coins that can be bought with real money in the Store.

Infused Haunted Idols will summon medium-tier event Creatures to be defeated, except for "Choc-Loot Rain".

Typical red Boss Mobs that appear during this second stage, additionally to the ones encountered during the first stage, are: Mirghouls, Ghostevils, Ghostzillas and more rarely Clarice The Eternal Ominous Hog. These Creatures are tougher than the typical tier 1 idol event Creatures, but they still require the same amount of hits with either an Obsidian Sword, an Iron-level Sword, a Diamond-level Sword or a Lumite-level Sword to be killed (more than just 3 hits of course).

The durability of the Weapon will not be influenced even when fighting these high level Creatures. Do not use weaker melee Weapons though (Twig, Wood Sword, Stone Sword), because you will need to hit the Creatures way more often with those!

Other than that, the same rules as for first-level Idol Events apply.

Tier 2 Idol events[]

Whack-a-worm[]

A known weird fact is that when Whack-a-worm events are initiated by placing Infused Haunted Idols, these events will still only reward players with a common Haunted Ghost Treasure chest in the end that will often contain an Infused Haunted Idol (again), but will not reward players with Unleashed Haunted Idols

All Eyes On You[]

4 waves/groups of aggressive Mirus called "Mirghouls" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Usually, the first wave consists of 1 Mirghoul spawning at first, the next wave of two Mirghouls spawning at a time, then three for waves 3+4. Sometimes more Mirghouls might spawn for the first two waves though. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn

The Thrills ...[]

(trigger in event title cropped on purpose) 10 red colored aggressive large Mirus called "Mirghouls" will appear one after another and and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

Soulkeepa Party[]

several (sometimes only 4) red small Keepas called "Soulkeepas" will spawn and have to be "caught" (killed) before the timer (as displayed in the top left part of the screen, ca.

Choc-Loot Rain[]

collect as much loot as you can from ca. 20 spawning Haunted Ghost Treasure chests (in quite a distance around the Infused Haunted Idol that you have placed and on the same level/altitude as the Idol) before the timer runs out. You'll have around 15-20 seconds as is displayed in the top left part of the screen. The Ghost Chests will spawn around the Idol in a radius of ca. 16 blocks into all directions

Who you gonna call?[]

4 waves of red colored Creatures will appear. Usually 1 or more Eidoleafis and 2 Hauntsters will show up for the first wave ("Let's rock!"), then 2 Eidoleafis and 1 or more Polturpigsies during the second wave ("Leafi this place!"), then 2 or more Polturpigsies and 2 Mirghouls for the third wave ("Mirurururu") and with wave 4 two aggressive Dustevils called "Ghostevils" ("Here's dust in yer eye") will appear together with their "minions" - usually 2 or more Poultrygeists. They all will have to be defeated one wave after the other. When the Ghostevils themselves have been defeated, any surviving "minions" will usually vanish together with the Ghostevils, although sometimes one or more Poultrygeists will remain while the reward Ghost Treasure Chests appears

Clarice's revenge[]

a large red colored aggressive BossHog called "Clarice" ("Eternal Ominous Hog" or also called "The great GhostHog", referred to as "he"/"him") will appear together with large red colored Pigsies called "Polturpigsies", but only Clarice himself has to be defeated in order to complete this event successfully. Additional Polturpigsies will randomly spawn as well and "assist" Clarice as his "minions". When Clarice has been defeated, any surviving Polturpigsies will usually vanish together with Clarice

Ghostzilla 2000[]

a large red colored non-aggressive Rockzilla-like Haunster called "Ghostzilla" will appear (addressed as "he"/"him"), assisted by additionally spawning Hauntsters (red colored large Rocksters). Only Ghostzilla himself has to be defeated in order to complete this event successfully. Even more additional Hauntsters will randomly spawn as well and "assist" Ghostzilla as its "minions". When Ghostzilla has been defeated, any surviving Hauntsters will usually vanish together with Ghostzilla

Rewards for Tier 2 Idol Events[]

The Infused Haunted Idol will then transform into an Infused Ghost Treasure chest that can contain:

Whack-a-worm events that can be initiated by placing an Infused Haunted Idol, will still only provide you with a common Haunted Ghost Treasure chest afterwards instead of an Infused Ghost Treasure chest.

Again, some Creatures will drop Ghost Loot Bags with contents as listed for Tier 1 Idol Events.

Third-level challenges[]

Unleashed Haunted Idols will summon high-tier event Creatures to be defeated. You can collect these Idols from reward chests for second level Idol Events.

Idols of all kinds can be bought via block kits for player-made Blueprints that you can find in the Steam workshop for Creativerse. Building kits have to be paid with Coins that can be bought with real money in the Store.

The Idol will transform into an Unleashed Ghost Treasure reward chest if you successfully complete an event.

Typical red Boss Mobs that appear during this third stage, additionally to the ones encountered during the first and second stage, are: Th'ang The Unyielding and W'urm The Infernal.

Even though Th'ang and W'urm are much tougher than the other idol event Creatures, they still require the same amount of hits with either an Obsidian Sword, an Iron-level Sword, a Diamond-level Sword or a Lumite-level Sword to be killed.

Tier 3 Idol events[]

Soulkeepa Explosion[]

lots of (ca. 20) small red Keepas called "Soulkeepas" will spawn and have to be "caught" (killed) before the timer runs out that is displayed in the top left part of the screen (around 90 seconds).

Choc-Loot Rain[]

loot as many of the ca. 20 spawning ghostly blueish-white Haunted Ghost Treasure chests as you can before the timer runs out (around 15 seconds as displayed in the top left part of the screen). These chests will spawn on the same level/altitude as the placed Idol in a radius of ca. up to 16 blocks around the Idol into all directions

Defective Idol[]

the Unleashed Haunted Idol will change its color (in fact an "altered/corrupted" larger version of the Idol will spawn, sometimes a bit displaced next to the actual Idol) and emit a violet aura while randomly spawning gradually stronger large red aggressive Creatures, often starting with 3 or more Eidoleafis at first, then 3 Polturpigsies, then 3 Hauntsters, then 3 Poultrygeists, then 2 Ghostevils, then 2 Mirghouls together with a giant Boss Hog called "Clarice", then 3 Boss Things called "Th'ang" and the like. The event will be completed as soon as the Idol itself has been destroyed. Usually any surviving Creatures will vanish together with it when it is destroyed

Th'ang rises[]

three or more large red colored aggressive Creatures will appear and have to be killed: 2 Eidoleafis, 2 Polturpigsies and 1 Mirghoul will usually spawn at first. After they have been eliminated, the system message will then explain that they "merge" into a large red colored aggressive Boss Thing called "Th'ang" ("The Unyielding"). When Th'ang has been defeated, the system message will claim that it "splits" into smaller Creatures that have to be defeated again (this time more randomly into Mirghouls, Hauntsters, Poultrygeists, or more rarely Ghostevils or Eidoleafies), and will afterwards again merge into Th'ang... This should happen 3 times if not bugged. When the third wave of Creatures or Th'ang itself is defeated for the third time, the event is completed. In 2017, sometimes a bug prevented the reward from appearing after defeating Th'ang, especially if Th'ang has not "merged" properly after a defeat of the smaller Creatures, or when Th'ang was not able to "split" properly

W'urm! W'urm! W'urm!

a giant and tough immobile red aggressive Boss Warmworm called "W'urm" ("The Infernal") will appear and has to be defeated. W'urm is able to hit player characters at a range of ca. 6 blocks and can even reach player characters that are positioned below it. W'urm can also disgorge some sort of firework that will erupt green ichor similar to the "lava-fountain" of common Warmworms. Despite the color, this ichor will set player characters within a range of ca. 6 blocks (but also higher up) on fire and deal fire damage over time for 3 seconds. Additional "minions" will randomly spawn as well and "assist" W'urm, usually starting with one Hauntster, two Eidoleafis and one Polturpigsy, and in a second wave also Mirghouls, Poultrygeists and/or even Ghostevils. When W'urm has been defeated, any surviving "minions" will usually vanish together with W'urm

Rewards for Tier 3 Idol Events[]

Each Unleashed Ghost Treasure chest contains:

These chests will only very rarely provide you with an Infused Haunted Idol.

Again, some Creatures will drop Ghost Loot Bags with contents as listed for Tier 1 Idol Events. The giant Idol Event Creatures will extremely rarely (if ever) drop any loot of their own though.

Vulnerabilities and immunities[]

Please note that some event Creatures are immune to certain elemental damage, like common Warmworms and Hot Feet usually are immune to burning/fire damage or Things are immune to Corruption damage (like all other Corrupted Creatures). However, all event Creatures can always be drowned.

Since October 2018, all Halloween-specific Creatures are now vulnerable to Corruption and Fire, they can easily be killed by Corrupted Water and/or liquid Lava, especially if it's two blocks deep (or even deeper).

Advice for fighting event Creatures[]

All Creatures that have been summoned by an Idol will be indicated on your compass as one red symbol each. This might be useful to know for "Whack-a-Worm" and whenever Idol Event Creatures might glitch upwards or downwards and then wander around, or if they should spawn outside of a small arena and you will then have to search for them.

All red ghostly Boss Mobs are special Creatures that take the exact same damage from Obsidian Swords, Iron Swords, Diamond Swords or Lumite Swords. So it is not even necessary to equip your best weapon, like any Lumite-level Sword.

Some Idol Event Creatures take the same damage from Stone Swords too (not all of them though!), and a few will even take the same damage from all types/tiers of melee Weapons (like Wraithworms).

Still, you can even use your best Lumite-level swords without a worry, because another very player-friendly feature is that red giant ghostly Creatures that appear during Idol Events will neither lower the durability of your weapon when you hit them, nor of your armor when they hit your player character.

Better do not use Twigs, Wood Swords or Stone Swords for Idol Events, because these Weapons are too weak for some of the Idol Event Creatures and you will need to hit the red ghostly Creatures way too often with those.

Please note that (blueish) white Ghost Creatures though definitely WILL lower the durability of weapons! These Creatures cannot be summoned with any Idols, they appear naturally during ingame nights on any solid natural block in dark areas on the surface, except for Ghost Mirus that appear underground. They will not reduce the durability of your armor at least, because these Creatures don't fight back, different to the Idol Event Creatures.

If you can move fast enough, Diamond Armor will be sufficient for protection against the red giant ghostly Creatures summoned by Idols; but Lumite Armor is always a safer bet. Your armor too will not lose any durability when being hit by red ghostly Idol Event Creatures.

It is absolutely recommended to gulp down an Health Regeneration Potion as soon as an Idol event starts. During Halloween event-times you can get these Potions from Ghost Loot occasionally. Even better would be to eat a Mushroom Sandwich or (a more expensive) Wholesome Sandwich that will grant you additional maximum health as well as health regeneration for 15 minutes.

It is generally advised to put a stack of Advanced Health Potions into your quickbar before starting Idol Events. You can select their quickslot beforehand and then use right-click (or type the number key of the according quickslot twice) in order to drink a healing potion during the fight whenever your player character has been hit hard. You can only consume another healing potion after a short cooldown though.

For "Whack-a-Worm", "Soulkeepa Party", "Soulkeepa Explosion" and "Choc-a-Loot" events, you might want to consider consuming a Speed Potion too, right at the beginning of these events.

In melee combat, it's best to circle all the large red ghostly Idol Event Creatures except for Soulkeepas and Wraithworms continually. Simply run around them without using sprint while hitting them, so that they won't be able to hit you back. Holding down the left mouse button will let you auto-hit them with your melee weapon.

Poison Bombs are the most efficient Explosives against Idol Event Creatures.

Other Explosives like Armor-Piercing Bombs or Explosive Bombs can be used too, also Shur-Ice-Ns or Vlad-a-Rangs; and even Rimecones can be thrown, but all of them are much less effective than Poison Bombs.

You can in principle use Flaming Skulls or Fire Bombs, but they are sadly inefficient. Also, in this case you will have to take care not to use flammable materials or liquids when building your arena that can be burned away. Liquids like Corrupted Water and Mineral Water can be evaporated, Hardened Lava blocks can be turned into liquid Lava, Sand can be transformed into Salt, etc.

Freeze Bombs and Snowcubes on the other hand can freeze Corrupted Water and Mineral Water to Ice, and can harden liquid Lava to Hardened Lava blocks. This also applies to Snowcubes that are shot by Snowball Turrets.

Combat arena[]

Since Creativerse is a sandbox game, it is recommended to place Idols into a specifically built "arena" for best combat conditions.

In order to avoid lags, you might want to select a place to build such an arena in your game world where nothing else or at least not much has been built and the underground has not been changed much.

Many players prefer to use 16 Excavators (you can collect these from Ghost Loot bags of Ghost Creatures during Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign or from defeated red ghostly Idol Event Creatures occasionally) to dig a large pit with a flat surface and escape routes that only players but no Creatures can use, for example by placing ladders on the walls.

Flagging the ground with crafted blocks and/or placing a lot of luminaires will prevent additional common Creatures from spawning, especially during night-times.

Filling the arena with Corrupted Water and consuming Corrupted Sandwiches, Corrupted Bread or Corrupted Pie in order to place the Idols and pick up the ghost loot bags as well as the reward chests is an often used strategy.

Building the floor of such an arena from rotated slabs will allow you to run around below it without getting into contact with the Corrupted Water though, or in this case you might even want to fill your arena with liquid Lava that kills all the Idol Event Creatures very quickly. If the liquid is 2 blocks "deep", this will be even more effective, since it will also drown the Creatures. You can fight the Idol Event Creatures from below additionally; and you can tame them too if you're quick enough.

If the arena is too small, then some Creatures might spawn outside of it, especially Wraithworms during "Whack-a-Worm", and even more easily so if the arena is "underground" and there are caves nearby. This can also happen to treasure chests that spawn during "Choc-Loot Rain".

If you create a floating arena though, then it can rarely happen that Creatures might spawn or glitch below it instead of staying on the arena floor.

However, a tiny floating arena can be very useful for Whack-a-worm events, since this will force Wraithworms to spawn within a small radius and will make it easier for you to kill them all within the short time limit for this event. Such a tiny floating arena could be "connected" to another area across a gap where you can stand at the other side of a teleporter that will allow you to "lure" the Creatures into this teleporter and let them teleport into a kill-trap perhaps.

Building "High seats" for throwing bombs down into an arena can be useful too, and a ceiling can prevent player characters from taking damage when being hurled upwards by some of the Idol Event Creatures.

You can make use of fences, ladders, teleporters, fans, block phasers and/or any types of structures that can trap Creatures to reach them without letting them reach your player character, to immobilize them or directly hurt and even kill them - like by placing liquid Lava or Corrupted Water directly around the spot where the Idol will be put, and/or by letting it flow down on that spot (and around it), or by placing Corrupted Water in the shape of a moat all around the Idol where you can also lure Creatures into or push them into by throwing Explosives or by using your gauntlet.

You might also try out some sort of labyrinth with 1 block wide gaps that player characters can cross, but Creatures cannot, or with a floor made from Window Lattices so you can hit Creatures from below while they cannot hit you back, with Bamboo, doors or gates to create a smaller arena within a larger one in order to fence in Soulkeepas, or with trapdoors as a floor that can be opened with a switch at once and let Creatures fall into a moat made of either liquid Lava or Corrupted Water - so many possibilities... Be creative!

You can find player-made Blueprints for Idol arenas (they can also be called idle kill-traps, corruption arenas, tamers etc.) in the Steam workshop for Creativerse that can help you with killing Idol Event Creatures automatically.

More tips regarding the events[]

The actual difficulty level of the events is a bit random, even though the description of the Haunted Idols claims that it will start a combat event with an easy difficulty level, the description of the Infused Haunted Idols claims that it will start a combat event with a medium difficulty level and the description of Unleashed Haunted Idols claims that it will start a combat event with an hard difficulty level.

Other than that, depending on players' personal preferences some might estimate specific events as being "easy" that others might view as being very hard...

Whack-a-worm events are considered pretty difficult because of their time limit. Some players even choose to ignore them completely, because they can often be started with a medium-tier Infused Haunted Idol, but there will still always just an Infused Haunted Idol to be found in the Haunted Ghost Treasure reward chest afterwards.

You won't have to defeat all the smaller additional Creatures ("minions") if the specifically given event goal is to defeat a certain Boss Creature. You can still do so for a chance to obtain additional Ghost Loot bags. But if the Boss is defeated (as long as this is the goal of the event), then all the additional Creatures will usually simply disappear together with it - without leaving any additional loot.

Wave-events have a small chance of being "completed" with the Idol transforming into a ghostly treasure chest when the last Creature is killed that has spawned, even though one or maybe more of the giant red Creatures might be left. In principle you won't have to kill these "leftovers", since they might just despawn if you leave the place and go further away for a while or relog. But there is a chance that these Creatures will drop Ghost Loot bags when they are being killed by players...

If an event is interrupted (like by a disconnection from the online servers or if Creatures walk into Teleporters and are transported somewhere far from their summoning spot), it's possible for initially aggressive red ghostly event Creatures to become peaceful until they are attacked by players again.

Usually this will not hinder players from completing the challenges and receiving the rewards as intended by defeating either the Boss Creature or all Creatures of the summoned "wave/s". Often, the follow-up waves of Creatures will be aggressive again anyways like intended.

However, if you take way too much time to defeat them after an interruption, no reward chest might show up!

Taming Idol Event Creatures[]

All red event Creatures spawned by Haunted Idols (except for those spawned on a Mob Spawner) can be tamed with a Taming Collar. In order to tame them, you need to get close to them and point the Taming Collar at them as long as it takes for the bar to fill without being interrupted.

Stun Bombs that can be thrown every 5-6 seconds from the quickbar with right-click (as the deafult keysetting) while taming will help with that.

Alternatively, you can tame aggressive and very strong Idol Event Creatures safely from below a floor made of any blocks or objects with holes, like Fences, rotated Slabs, Window Lattices, Bamboo, Wicket Gates or the like.

Taming them across gaps, over fences or through any small holes at the same altitude / level as these Creatures will let them hit your player character as well though.

To tame W'urm from below, you have to position your player character exactly below this exceptionally dangerous Creature, otherwise W'urm The Infernal can hit your player character even through the floor. This can even also happen now and then while taming other Creatures, so it's generally a good idea to stand directly right below them.

As Pets, all these ghostly red Creatures prefer Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite Food and will then provide you with the same pet-harvest as their common relatives.

  • an Eidoleafi takes 5 seconds to be tamed.
  • a Polturpigsy also takes 5 seconds to be tamed.
  • a Hauntster takes 5 seconds to be tamed as well.
  • a Poultrygeist takes 5 seconds to be tamed again.
  • a Wraithworm takes 10 seconds to be tamed.
  • a Soulkeepa takes 15 seconds to be tamed.
  • a Mirghoul takes 30 seconds to be tamed (which is pretty long for his medium strength).
  • a Ghostevil takes only 5 seconds again to be tamed though.
  • Ghostzilla takes only 10 seconds to be tamed (not much for his size).
  • Clarice The Eternal Ominous BossHog even takes only 7,5 seconds to be tamed.
  • Th'ang The Unyielding takes only 10 seconds to be tamed again (extremely quickly compared to Things)
  • W'urm The Infernal takes 30 seconds to be tamed, fitting to his danger level.

Bug Warnings[]

The "Whack-a-Worm" event might still rarely be bugged. Please check your timer at the start of the event. Best take a screenshot. If the timer is not at 60 seconds, but less when the event starts, then go on fighting (don't daddle), and you might still receive the treasure in the end, no matter what the timer says. If not, then please report this on the bug forums: http://steamcommunity.com/app/280790/discussions/1/1483233503862307187/

The "Th'ang rises" event can also be bugged sometimes so that it won't split into Creatures or won't combine properly and/or no treasure chest will appear after defeating Th'ang, even though the Unleashed Haunted Idol will disappear. As long as Th'ang or the weaker Creatures that Th'ang will split into have not been defeated, the Idol will usually not vanish though. If you leave the event before it's done, then it will run out after a longer while and in this case it is intended that you won't get any reward (no bug).

Pumpkiru and son 2018-2020[]

Only during Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, The Great Pumpkirus and (way more rarely) sometimes Pumpkiru Jr.s would appear here and there only at night (starting with ingame time 10:37 - 10:47 PM) on solid natural blocks in dark areas on the surface of Creativerse game worlds within a certain proximity around player characters. To make them spawn, it was recommended to travel the land until a Pumpkiru would spawn somewhere nearby.

If a Pumpkiru was close, a pumpkin-colored symbol looking like the head of The Great Pumpkiru would show up on/below the compass on top of the main game screen while playing. If more than one Pumpkirus were around, then more pumpkin-symbols indicated in which direction they could be found each. Similar to the skull symbol for Death Statues, the pumpkin-symbol was or grew larger if a Pumpkiru was close by, or appeared smaller on the compass if the Pumpkiru was further away from the player.

After purchasing a Mysterious Bauble from any of the Pumpkirus during the event, players can summon The Great Pumpkiru at any time. He will not spawn directly in front of the summoning player character though, but somewhere close by, at (approximately) the same level of altitude. Pumpkirus burn away quickly in sunlight, so it's recommended to only summon them while in a cave or a closed-up room without any translucent blocks/objects in walls or ceilings.

Pumpkirus were the first NPCs that have been introduced to Creativerse, on October 18th 2017.

The Great Pumpkiru and Pumpkiru Jr. are both friendly NPCs capable of speech and trading. They resembled Mirus, but are of unusual orange-red color with green colored parts and violet eyes, and they both wear accessories.

Since they are Night Creatures, Pumpkirus burst into blue flames when hit by sunlight (usually starting around 5:12 AM), unless they have wandered (were pushed into or were summoned into) Caves or other dark places. When players attack or hurt them, they will not flee nor defend themselves, but will die stoically. Neither Pumpkiru Jr. nor The Great Pumpkiru drop any loot, since they are NPCs. For the same reason they also can not be tamed and cannot be spawned on Mob Spawners.

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, Pumpkirus tell players that candy has been stolen from The Great Pumpkiru. So, players can trade Pumpkiru Candy that they can collect during the seasonal Halloween event for Halloween items, rare seasonal Recipes and sometimes Halloween-related Costumes. All Pumpkirus would offer the same wares for the same prices. Neither the offers nor their price could be changed by players.

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, you can activate the Pumpkirus like any Pet or activatable object by clicking your right mouse-button or pressing "f" (as the default key) while pointing your cursor at a Pumpkiru (either The Great Pumpkiru or Pumpkiru Jr.). When activated during the Halloween event, a window will pop up that allows players to trade with the Pumpkirus.

Since these Recipes are actual items (Recipe books and Recipe pages), they can be stored and given to other players to be learnt by them. Please note that event-specific rare Recipes cannot be learnt in Adventures though. Instead you will have to invite players to the game world where you have bought and stored the Recipes in order to give these books and or pages to your fellow players. After they learn the Recipes, the Recipe books/pages will vanish and can't be shared with anyone else another time.

Halloween-themed items in 2020[]

Pumpkiru 2020 items

In the TAB "Items", already crafted Halloween-themed items can be bought from the Pumpkirus, however this will not unlock their rare crafting Recipes (the list and prices are exactly the same as in 2019):

Featured in 2019[]

Some of the offers are account-bound and are supposed to only be purchasable once in the TAB "Featured":

Whenever you will buy one of these offers, they will vanish from the Pumpkirus' list of offers.

However, there are also 5 rare Halloween-themed Recipe Pages in the "Favorites" TAB that can be bought more often than once in order to be stored and shared with other players, but can only be learnt once per player/account:

After learning such Recipes (right-click on the books or pages/scrolls in your inventory or drag them over your player character model on the right side of the inventory) these recipes will be permanently added to your crafting menu and will be available on all game worlds, even on those worlds that have the option "world bound recipes" enabled.

Halloween-themed items in 2019[]

In the TAB "Items", already crafted Halloween-themed items can be bought from the Pumpkirus, however this will not unlock their rare crafting Recipes:

Featured in 2018[]

Whenever you would buy one of these offers, they would vanish from the Pumpkirus' list of offers. However, there were also 3 rare Halloween-themed Recipe book in the "Favorites" TAB that could be bought more often than once (but can only be learnt once per account):

Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign 2017[]

The Halloween month in 2017 had several quite elaborate parts:

  • one Halloween-specific Idol Login Chest could be claimed ca. every 4 hours from the main game screen (before entering a game world), starting with two chests at a time initially. These Idol Login Chest could then be claimed on any game world from the inventory and would always contain 2 Haunted Idols plus additional useful stuff
  • Ghost Creatures appeared every ingame night on the surface of all Creativerse game worlds and could be hunted (killed) to occasionally collect Ghost Loot that would often contain 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy. Ghost Creatures require 3 hits with any melee weapon to be killed, even by Twigs that do not lose any durability
  • Haunted Idols from Idol Login Chests could be placed to immediately summon red colored aggressive large Creatures that had to be defeated (killed). The specific event goals could differ and were described by onscreen messages. Usually either a "Boss" Creature or waves of aggressive large red colored Creatures had to be killed, or in other cases, several summoned Creatures had to be killed within a certain timespan. Each participating player usually obtained a ghostly reward chest after the Creatures have been defeated successfully (within the set timespan), or could find Idols and Pumpkiru Candy in Ghost Loot Bags of Soulkeepas
  • The reward chest for this Idol event did not only contain Pumpkiru Candy, Halloween-themed items and other useful stuff, but very often also 1 Infused Haunted Idol that could then be placed to immediately summon even stronger Creatures that had to be defeated. Infused Haunted Idols could also optionally additionally be bought from the Store for Coins
  • The reward chest for Infused Haunted Idol events would then contain even more Pumpkiru Candy and random useful stuff, as well as 1 Unleashed Haunted Idol that could once more be placed to immediately summon high-tier Creatures to be defeated, or sometimes the Idol itself. At very rare occasions, ghostly loot chests appeared for a few seconds to be collected as a variation to the usual event types
  • the rewards for Unleashed Idol events were even better of course with even more Pumpkiru Candy and useful items, but usually did not include any more Idols
  • During night-times as long as the event was still ongoing, several The Great Pumpkirus and (more rarely) additional Pumpkiru Jr.s randomly spawned on the surface as well. Players were able to find them by following the Pumpkiru symbols on their compass that popped up whenever a Pumpkiru appeared within a certain distance. By travelling the land, players could make more Pumpkirus spawn. Pumpkirus were the first type of NPCs introduced to Creativerse
  • Players could activate Pumpkirus like Pets, Storage Chests, Crafting Stations, Doors etc. by right-click and can then trade in their Pumpkiru Candy to receive Pumpkin Treasure chests. These chests were filled with more or less rare Halloween-items (the more expensive chests contained more rare items) and Halloween-themed rare crafting Recipes. Only Pumpkiru's King Treasure that could be "bought" with 100 candy contained one random rare crafting Recipe for Halloween-themed items for sure though, while Royal Pumpkin Treasure chests only had a chance of obtaining an Halloween recipe, but sometimes did not. Only few Pumpkirus offered Pumpkiru's King Treasures right away, so it was recommended to search the land for suitable Pumpkirus instead of wasting candy on low tier Pumpkin Treasure chests that only contained common Halloween items, but no crafting recipes and only rarely Marigold Potions, but never Bat Juice - both of these potions could and still can not be crafted
  • Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign: whenever a Creativerse player completed one of the event challenges that had started at once when placing Idols, the game counted this victory and displayed the rising number on a slider to be found in the bottom right corner on the game main screen and on top of the ingame screen right above the inventory window. As soon as certain milestones were reached by the Creativerse player community, certain reward bundles could then be claimed by all players
  • After the slider had reached 250.000, the Candy Thief Reward could be claimed by clicking on the left pumpkin icon on the slider either on the main game screen or ingame after opening the inventory. Players could claim this bundle until November 15th 2017 on any game world from their inventory and then received a one-way storage container that looked like a stack of crates and contained the rewards. The crafting recipe for the Pumpkin Chest (a storage container with 36 slots) from this reward was automatically added to the crafting menu (on all game worlds); there was no recipe book or page for it that could be shared with other players. However, a relog was sometimes necessary because the recipe didn't always show up in the crafting menu right away
  • After the slider had reached 1,000,000, the Candy Thief Accolade could be unlocked until November 15th 2017 by clicking on the pumpkin icon in the middle of the slider. It included another item bundle as well as one more non-tradeable exclusive Halloween-themed crafting recipe - for the Royal Pumpkin Chest (which also has 36 slots)
  • After the slider had also already reached 1,500,000, the Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty could be unlocked until November 15th by clicking on the right pumpkin icon. It included several non-tradeable Halloween-themed crafting recipes this time: Pumpkiru's King Chest (which has 40 slots!), Candy Skull Candles, Blue Candy Skull Candle, Red Candy Skull Candle and Yellow Candy Skull Candle.

Idol Login Chests 2017[]

Starting with October 18th 2017 until November 15th 2017, every Creativerse player initially got 2 free Idol Login Chests right away when clicking on the respective icon "Free Chest" twice on the main game screen before entering a game world.

Another free Idol Login Chest was then unlocked 4 hours after claiming the Idol Login Chests, and a second Idol Login Chest another 4 hours (8 hours in total) after that.

Bug Warning 2017[]

There was a documented bug that could cause the timer for Idol Login Chests to become negative for unknown reasons. Players have suspected that collecting bundles in the inventory for a long time without claiming them could have something to do with this issue. A hotfix on October 20th 2017 has taken care of it. If you should experience something similar, please report this on the bug forums: https://steamcommunity.com/app/280790/discussions/1/

Pumpkiru and son 2017[]

Only during Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign (ended on November 15th 2017) at night (starting with ingame time 10:37 - 10:47 PM), The Great Pumpkirus and (way more rarely) sometimes Pumpkiru Jr.s would appear here and there on the surface of Creativerse game worlds within a certain proximity around player characters.

If a Pumpkiru was near, a pumpkin-colored symbol looking like the head of The Great Pumpkiru would show up on/below the compass on top of the main game screen while playing.

Pumpkirus were the first NPCs that have been introduced to Creativerse.

You could activate them like any Pet or activatable object (for example Crafting Stations) - by clicking your right mouse-button or typing "f" (as the default key) while pointing your cursor at a Pumpkiru (either The Great Pumpkiru or Pumpkiru Jr.).

When activated, a window would pop up that allowed players to trade with the Pumpkiru.

In 2017, Pumpkirus would either trade:

Only Pumpkiru's King Treasure (highest tier chests bought with 100 candy) contained rare crafting Recipes for Halloween-themed items.

It was recommended to save 100 Pumpkiru Candy or more and then to search for one of the Pumpkirus that will offer Pumpkiru's King Treasure for 100 candy instead of wasting any candy on any of the "cheaper" chests, until the rare recipes were collected. Also the items found in cheaper chests were more common ones, while the more rare items (and even the non-craftable Bat Juice) could more often be found in the more expensive Pumpkin chests.

More Pumpkirus spawned as soon as players entered new areas (only on solid blocks, not in liquids), so it was recommended to run or fly over the landscape and talk to every Pumpkiru that would spawn to find the ones that offered expensive Pumpkin treasure chests. The Pumpkiru symbol on the compass was of great help to find them, even though the golden chest of Great Pumpkirus was pretty well visible in the dark from a distance too.

Just by talking more often to the same Pumpkiru, its initial chest offer would not change, only his additional monologue often did. After trading one or more chests, a Pumpkiru often randomly offered another type of chest. Buying cheaper chests would not "unlock" Pumpkiru's offer of more valuable chests though or anything like that.

Players could attack, hurt and even kill Pumpkirus. However, this only wasted time and some of the durability of the weapon, since they never dropped any loot. Pumpkirus didn't flee nor fight back, but they also didn't drop any loot ever. And they could be tamed either.

Pumpkin Treasure chests 2017[]

Any Pumpkin Treasure (low tier chests that could be bought with 20 Pumpkiru Candy from Pumpkirus) will mainly contain already crafted Haunted Nights blocks and objects that were already introduced in 2016, often together with some of the new bombs (Scare Flares and/or Flaming Skulls), Haunted Fireworks and/or (more rarely) Marigold Potions, but no crafting recipes.

Royal Pumpkin Treasure' chests 2017'[]

Royal Pumpkin Treasures (medium tier chests bought with 50 Pumpkiru Candy from Pumpkirus) only have a "chance" of containing crafting recipes (so they often will not), but will still provide you with already crafted rare new Halloween-themed items like Vlad-a-Rangs, Scare Flares, Flaming Skulls, Haunted Fireworks, bottles of Bat Juice, Marigold Potions, Candy Skull Banners, Candy Skull Statues, Candy Skull Candles, Red Candy Skull Candles, Blue Candy Skull Candles and/or Yellow Candy Skull Candles. Please note that Bat Juice and Marigold Potions cannot be crafted.

Pumpkiru's King Treasure' chests 2017'[]

Pumpkiru's King Treasure (highest tier chests bought with 100 Pumpkiru Candy from Pumpkirus) will contain the same type of items that the Royal Pumpkin Treasure chests provide, but one guaranteed rare crafting Recipe for a random Halloween-themed item. After learning such recipes (right-click on them in your inventory or drag them over your player character model on the right side of the inventory) these recipes will be permanently added to your crafting menu and will be available on all game worlds, even on those that have the option "world bound recipes" enabled.

To receive the content of the chests that you have obtained from Pumpkirus, from other players or from unlocked reward bundles from the Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign, you will have to place the Pumpkin Treasures, Royal Pumpkin Treasures and/or Pumpkiru's King Treasures from your quickbar into the game world. Different from storage containers, these chests will then automatically open after displaying a special animation.

You can right-click on these chests or activate them (by typing "f" as the default key) while pointing your cursor at them even without waiting for the animation to finish if you are in a hurry.

Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign 2017[]

Whenever a Creativerse player completed one of the combat events that was summoned with any Idol (Haunted Idol, Infused Haunted Idol, Unleashed Haunted Idol) successfully, this victory was counted and displayed on a slider that players could observe on the main screen of the game before entering a game world, as well as on top of the ingame screen when opening the inventory.

Three pumpkin icons marked specific goals for the community campaign - the Candy Thief Reward at 250,000, the Candy Thief Accolade at 1,000,000 and the Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty at 1,500,000 targeted combat victories. These goals were reached when the Creativerse player community successfully completed 250,000, 1,000,000 and at last 1,500,000 Idol events. And whenever one of these goals was accomplished, the according community reward would be unlocked.

This way everyone belonging to the Creativerse player community could do their bit to unlock special Rewards whenever they had used an Idol and then beat the summoned red ghostly "boss" Creatures.

These "Thief" rewards consisting of an item bundle and Halloween-themed rare Recipes could then be claimed by every Creativerse player by clicking on the respective pumpkin icons on the slider - either on the main game screen or ingame after opening the inventory. Afterwards, the bundle can be found in your inventory. The rewards were only available until November 15th 2017.

Candy Thief Reward' 2017'[]

After the slider has reached 250,000, the Candy Thief Reward has been unlocked on October 20th 2017 for all Creativerse players to claim. To claim it, players could click on the left pumpkin icon on the slider, either on the main game screen or ingame after opening your inventory. After claiming it, it would become a one-way storage container that looked like a stack of wooden crates. This could be placed on the ground and activated with right-click or "f" (as the default key) like any other storage container.

The Candy Thief Reward consisted of the rare crafting Recipe for Pumpkin Chests, plus 3 (already crafted) Pumpkin Chests, 5 (filled) Pumpkin Treasures, 1 Royal Pumpkin Treasure, 100x Pumpkiru Candy and 5 Infused Haunted Idols.

Candy Thief Accolade[]

After the slider has reached 1,000,000, the Candy Thief Accolade was unlocked on October 28th 2017 for all Creativerse players to claim.

To claim it, players could click on the middle pumpkin icon on the slider, either on the main game screen or ingame after opening your inventory. After claiming it, it would become a one-way storage container that looks like a stack of wooden crates. This could be placed on the ground and activated with right-click or "f" (as the default key) like any other storage container.

The Candy Thief Accolade consisted of the rare crafting Recipe for a Royal Pumpkin Chest, plus 3 (already crafted) Royal Pumpkin Chests, 5 (filled) Royal Pumpkin Treasures, 1 Pumpkiru's King Treasure,100x Pumpkiru Candy and 2 Unleashed Haunted Idols.

Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty' 2017'[]

Ever since the slider has reached 1,500,000, the Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty was unlocked on November 1st 2017 for all Creativerse players to claim.

The Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty consisted of rare crafting Recipes for Pumpkiru's King Chests, Candy Skull Banners, Candy Skull Statues, Yellow Candy Skull Candles, Blue Candy Skull Candles, Red Candy Skull Candles and (3 grouped) Candy Skull Candles, plus 3 (already crafted) Pumpkiru's King Chests, 5 (filled) Royal Pumpkin Treasures, 100 Pumpkiru Candy and 5 Unleashed Haunted Idols.

None of the Pumpkiru's Community Campaign rewards can be claimed any longer since November 15th 2017.

What will remain after Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign has ended?[]

  • What about the idols? Will they still work?
Idols will continue to work normally after the end of the Halloween event, but they will no longer be available as a Daily Login Reward.
  • What can I do with all this leftover candy?
Candy can be traded to Pumpkirus up until the time of their departure when the event will end. After that time, it's your choice: will you save the candy for next year, or enjoy the sweets yourself?
  • What will happen to the new costumes?
We’re planning to leave the Halloween-themed costumes in the store for a while as we build up a wider selection of costumes, but it’s possible in the future they would start to be available only seasonally.
  • Will the Great Pumpkiru return?
Yes! And if Pumpkiru Jr does well enough in school, he may even get to participate a bit more next time!
