Basic information and overview[]
Idol events are combat challenges (sometimes timed ones) that can be immediately started by placing Idols - either Haunted Idols, Infused Haunted Idols or Unleashed Haunted Idols.
These Idols can only be obtained during Halloween event-times for ca. one month around Halloween or for other special occasions that will be announced beforehand by Playful.
Players can collect Haunted Idols and higher tier Idols during that time and store them to start idol events anytime throughout the year if they want to. Idols are tradeable amongst players as well.
Each Idol Event/challenge has its own goals as described onscreen; usually a certain number of giant red ghost Creatures has to be defeated or at one occasion ghostly loot chests have to be plundered within a short timespan.
Idol Events were introduced to Creativerse for the first time during the first Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, the Halloween event 2017 that started on October 18th 2017 and ended on November 15th 2017. Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign was launched for the second time on October 24th 2018 until November 14th 2018; and returned a third time on October 17th 2019.
How to initiate[]
Haunted Idols (that can be obtained from daily Idol Login Chests and as a rare drop from Ghost Creatures during Halloween event-times) can be placed into the game world and will immediately summon red colored aggressive large Creatures that had to be defeated (killed).
Placing them into the slots of display containers will not trigger any events, but simply display the Idols though.
The specific event goals will differ and are described by onscreen messages. Usually either a large red ghostly "Boss" Creature or many aggressive large red ghostly Creatures have to be killed. In other cases, summoned Creatures have to be defeated within a certain timespan or in one case, spawning ghostly loot chests have to be looted quickly.
Each participating player will obtain a ghostly reward chest (Haunted Ghost Treasure) after the summoned Creatures have been defeated successfully (within the set timespan), or else they can find Pumpkiru Candy and rarely Infused Haunted Idols in Ghost Loot Bags.
The Haunted Ghost Treasure reward chest for first level Haunted Idol Events contains Pumpkiru Candy, an assortment of useful stuff (see below), and very often also 1 Infused Haunted Idol.
Infused Haunted Idols can then be placed to immediately summon even stronger Creatures that have to be defeated for better rewards. Infused Haunted Idols can also optionally additionally be bought from the Store for Coins, but only during Halloween event-times.
The Infused Ghost Treasure reward chest for Infused Haunted Idol events will then contain even more Pumpkiru Candy and random useful stuff, as well as occasionally 1 Unleashed Haunted Idol. At very rare occasions, ghostly loot chests will appear for a few seconds to be collected as a variation to the usual event types, in which case no end reward chest will spawn. Also, Soulkeepa events are not rewarded by reward chests, instead the reward is contained in the Ghost Loot Bags of the Soulkeepas, including an occasional Idol.
Unleashed Haunted Idols can once more be placed to immediately summon high-tier Creatures to be defeated, or sometimes the Idol itself that will change for this occasion and summon more and more aggressive Creatures until you destroy the Idol by hitting it.
The rewards for Unleashed Idol events (Unleashed Ghost Treasure) are even better again of course with even more Pumpkiru Candy and more useful items, but they usually will not include any more Idols.
Pumpkiru Candy can be consumed or used as trade items to purchase valuable chests from Pumpkirus (The Great Pumpkiru and/or Pumpkiru Jr.), the first types of NPCs that were introduced to Creativerse. However, Pumpkirus will usually only spawn during Halloween event-times.
During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, Pumpkirus will spawn around players randomly, so the chance to meet a Pumpkiru can be raised by travelling the land. The orange Pumpkiru symbol on the compass should be of great help to locate Pumpkirus even if they're not in line of sight.
Both Pumpkirus have the same list of items, recipes and costumes to offer for the same price/s. Talking more often to the same Pumpkiru will not change its offer, only his (both Pumpkirus are male) additional monologue often changes by that.
Known Idol events[]
Tier 1 Idol events initiated by Haunted Idols[]
- Bushel of Eidoleafis: 4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Leafis called "Eidoleafis" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn
- Polturpigsy Horde: 4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Pigsies called "Polturpigsies" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. - A Haunt of Hauntsters: 4 waves/groups of large red colored aggressive Rocksters called "Hauntsters" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. Usually one wave consists of 3 Hauntsters spawning at a time, but sometimes less. Only after one wave has been defeated, the next wave will spawn
- Eidoleafi Train: 10 large red colored aggressive Leafis called "Eidoleafis" will appear one after another and have to be defeated. One more of these Creatures will spawn ca. every 3 seconds until all 10 have spawned, no matter if you have defeated the ones that have already spawned or not

A hotfix has been provided so that players with bugged timers (starting the events with much less than 60 seconds) will still get the reward, even though the timer might run out long before the last Wraithworm has been killed.
- A known weird fact is that when Whack-a-worm events are initiated by placing Infused Haunted Idols, these events will still only reward players with occasional Infused Haunted Idols contained in a common Haunted Ghost Treasure chest in the end, but will not reward players with Unleashed Haunted Idols
- All Eyes On You: 4 waves/groups of aggressive Mirus called "Mirghouls" will appear and have to be defeated one wave after the other. - Who you gonna call?: 4 waves of red colored Creatures will appear. Usually 1 or more Eidoleafis and 2 Hauntsters will show up for the first wave ("Let's rock!"), then 2 Eidoleafis and 1 or more Polturpigsies during the second wave ("Leafi this place!"), then 2 or more Polturpigsies and 2 Mirghouls for the third wave ("Mirurururu") and with wave 4 two aggressive Dustevils called "Ghostevils" will appear together with their "minions" - usually 2 or more Poultrygeists ("Here's dust in yer eye"). They all will have to be defeated one wave after the other. When the Ghostevils themselves have been defeated, any surviving "minions" will usually vanish together with the Ghostevils
- Clarice's revenge: a large red colored aggressive BossHog called "Clarice" ("Eternal Ominous Hog" or als called "The great GhostHog") will appear together with large red colored Pigsies called "Polturpigsies" and has to be defeated. Tier 3 Idol events initiated by Unleashed Haunted Idols[]
- Soulkeepa Explosion: lots of small red Keepas called "Soulkeepas" will spawn and have to be "caught" (killed) before the timer runs out that is displayed in the top left part of the screen (around 80 seconds). No Ghost Treasure Chest will spawn after this event is done, instead the Ghost Loot Bags of the Soulkeepas will contain Pumpkiru Candy, Halloween-themed items and rarely also an Infused Haunted Idol
- Choc-Loot Rain: loot as many of the spawning Haunted Ghost Treasure chests as you can before the timer runs out (around 15 seconds as displayed in the top left part of the screen)
- Defective Idol: the Unleashed Haunted Idol will change its color and emit a violet aura while randomly spawning large red colored Creatures, often starting with 3 or more Eidoleafis at first, then 3 Poultrygeists, 3 Polturpigsies or 3 Hauntsters, later on Ghostevils and gradually stronger large red aggressive Creatures up to Boss Things called "Th'ang" and/or giant Boss Hogs called "Clarice" and the like. The event will be completed as soon as the Idol itself has been destroyed. Usually any surviving Creatures will vanish together with it
- W'urm! W'urm! W'urm! : a very large and tough immobile red aggressive Boss Warmworm called "W'urm" ("The Infernal") will appear and has to be defeated. W'urm is able to hit player characters that are positioned below it and can also disgorge some sort of firework that will erupt similar to the "lava-fountain" of Warmworms. Additional "minions" like Hauntsters, Ghostevils, Eidoleafis, Mirghouls, Poultrygeists and/or Polturpigsies will randomly spawn as well and "assist" W'urm. When W'urm has been defeated, any surviving "minions" will usually vanish together with W'urm
- Th'ang rises: three or more large red colored aggressive Creatures will appear and have to be killed: Eidoleafis, Polturpigsies and Mirghouls will usually spawn, Hauntsters might also sometimes show up additionally. After they have been eliminated, the system message will then explain that they "merge" into a large red colored aggressive Boss Thing called "Th'ang" ("The Unyielding"), sometimes assisted by additionally spawning red colored large Creatures. When Th'ang has been defeated, it will "split" into smaller Creatures that have to be defeated again, and will afterwards again merge into Th'ang... This should happen 3 times if not bugged. When Th'ang is defeated for the third time, the event is completed. Sometimes a bug will prevent the reward from appearing after defeating Th'ang, especially if Th'ang has not merged properly after the defeat of the smaller Creatures before or when Th'ang was not able to split up properly
First-level challenges[]
Every Creativerse player can take 2 Haunted Idols ca. every 4 hours from another free claimable Idol Login Chest during Halloween event-times. Any Idols (of any level/kind) that are still left after the event or are obtained in any way after the end of Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign will keep on triggering Halloween events.
As soon as one of these Idols is placed onto the ground, a fighting event will immediately begin. It does not have to be night to start the events, and sunlight will not kill the Creatures that are summoned by the Idol. Instead, the sky and air around the Idol will go darker all by itself as long as the event lasts. Idols cannot be deactivated and they cannot be wired to be activated at a later time.
One of several optional combat events will be randomly chosen, players cannot influence this selection.
In general, players will have to defeat a certain amount of large red-colored aggressive Creatures summoned by the Idol, sometimes within a certain timespan (like for the "Whack-a-Worm" event). These challenges can be bested alone or together as a team of players. Event rewards are "instanced" so that everyone that helps with the event will get their own reward chest.
As soon as players manage to accomplish the given event goal, the Idol will transform into a Haunted Ghost Treasure Chest that will contain:
- always ca. 6-10 Pumpkiru Candy

Typical red Boss Mobs that appear during this first stage are: Eidoleafies, Poultrygeists, Polturpigsies, Hauntsters, Wraithworms and rarely Soulkeepas.
Some of the red giant Creatures that players kill will drop Ghost Loot bags additionally that will contain pretty much the same things that common Ghost Creatures drop, not any more Pumpkiru Candy than 1 or 2 (rarely even none).

The next level of challenges can be taken on after obtaining Infused Haunted Idols - either from Haunted Ghost Treasure Chests after beating the bosses that were summoned with Haunted Idols.
