Green Gift Boxes are storage items that can be found in randomly spawning Holiday Gift boxes during the Christmas-themed "Festive Season" event. The Holiday Gift boxes can also contain the recipe for the Green Gift Boxes. Different from the randomly spawning Holiday Gifts, you can pick up and keep Green Gift Boxes, as they are furniture and "real" storage containers.

Green Gift Boxes have 32 inventory slots, even though they look larger than the Red Gift Box and Blue Gift Box.

During the event, they can also be obtained from Arctic Mirus, Rambeaus or Blizzard Chizzards, either as loot for killing them, or harvesting from them when they were your Pets.

You can always craft them in your Crafting Menu ("Q" as the default key) after obtaining the crafting-recipe either during christmas-season, as a gift from players or from player-created Adventures.

To craft 1 Green Gift Box you'll need (as of R45 in July 2017):

To use this storage-item, place it on the ground and activate it with right-click or "F" (as the default key). Since R32 you won't need to equip any Power Cells any more to pick up any crafted objects that have been placed into the world.

You can put whole stacks of stackable materials/blocks/items into these Gift Boxes from your inventory or quick-bar by right-clicking or dragging & dropping with your left mouse-button. If you hold a stack of stuff with your mouse-button (left click), you can drag it over the Red Gift Box and then right-click to drop only one piece of the stack (also repeatedly). You can also hold left shift + left click, then drag to move half a stack, or hold left shift + right click to move five items, or hold left ctrl + right click to move one item.

You can use the same kind of procedures to take stuff / stacks from Gift Boxes or chests.

To use storage items, you will have to place and then activate them by right-click or typing "F" (as the default key) when looking at them.

You can name any storage item individually by activating/opening the item and then clicking on the icon that looks like a square (note) with a pen to the right of the item name. You can type up to 30 characters into this array.

You can also change a few settings for each chest by clicking on the padlock-icon shown in the top right corner after activating/opening the chest. Here you can set individual authorizations to control who will be permitted access to this chest (and its contents). Available permission-settings currently are (June 2017): "just me", "world owner/admins", "world mods", "builders" or "everyone".

By clicking on the magnifying glass icon when in the chest, you can see the Transfer History to see who interacted with the chest in what way.

To use this storage-item, place it on the ground and activate it with right-click or "F" (as the default key). Since R32 you won't need to equip any Power Cells any more to pick up any crafted objects that have been placed into the world.

You can only pick up and take Gift Boxes that are empty (with no items inside). Of course you won't be able to take such items on claims of other players (or in worlds) where your permission level is set low.

If you have placed Gift Boxes or chests of any kind on a Creativerse game world before August 2016, you will have to empty them, pick them up (as said no Power Cell is needed to pull any of them) and then place the Gift Boxes/chests again to gain access to their new larger storage space.
