Flower Pots are basically smaller versions of Wood Planters.
The crafting recipe for Flower Pots will be unlocked by:
- creating (or taking) Adobe Bricks that can be made from Mud in a Forge
- crafting an Obsidian Mining Cell from Obsidian (bars), Stone Slabs made in a Processor, (blocks of) Bedrock, (blocks of) Magnetite and Mushrooms of any kind
- crafting Adobe Walls from Adobe Bricks, Melted Wax, Stone Rods made in a Processor and either Canyonstone, Ruddy Canyonstone or Dark Canyonstone
To craft 4 Flower Pots at once, you'll need (as of R45 in July 2017):
- 1x Melted Wax made of Beeswax in a Forge or looted from Wood Treasure Chests or Stone Treasure Chests
- 1 Stone Rod made of Stone, Limestone or Bedrock in a Processor
- 2 (blocks of) Adobe Bricks, made from Mud in a Forge
To use Flower Pots, you have to place and then activate them either by right-clicking on them or typing "F" (default key) when looking at them. A small window with a slot will open. You can then put one item from your inventory or your quickslots into this slot.
Not every item can be put into the Flower Pot. When interacting with the Flower Pot your inventory will show that most placeable items can be transferred into the Flower Pot though. Afterwards they will be displayed in the Pot visible as a smaller version than the usual item/block has, exactly the same like with Wood Planters and Stone Wall Shelves.
Placing Saplings, Queen Bees, Seeds or other growable items into the Flower Pot does not make any trees, beeswax nor crops grow from them. They are merely being displayed in this decorative furniture for adornment. Some things might not be displayed correctly though, like liquids or newly implemented objects.
Currently these decorative containers cannot be found in any Treasure Chests nor can they be obtained from any Creature.
