Basic Information[]

Pumpkiru Candy is a consumable Trade Item that grants health regeneration for ca. 15 seconds just like any type of Mushrooms and can be used to buy Halloween-themed items, rare seasonal Recipes and Costumes from Pumpkirus that only spawn during Halloween event-times.

Pumpkiru Candy is also the favorite type of Food of any white Ghost Creature pet and any tamed red ghostly Halloween-specific Idol Event Creature - Polturpigsy, Eidoleafi, Hauntster, Poultrygeist, Mirghoul, Ghostevil, Soulkeepa, Wraithworm, Clarice, W'urm and Th'ang.

This candy was implemented on October 18th 2017 for the first time, and can be collected by hunting Ghost Creatures that only appear during the Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, the seasonal Halloween event that usually runs for ca. one month in October to November.

Even more Pumpkiru Candy can be gained from reward chests for Idol Events that can be initiated by Haunted Idols, Infused Haunted Idols and Unleashed Haunted Idols.

While Haunted Idols can be collected for free during Halloween event-times from daily Idol Login Chests and Ghost Creatures, all types of Idols can be stored, traded amongst players and then used to initiate combat events throughout the year.

Since the health regeneration effect of Pumpkiru Candy is not very special at all, it is advised to rather save this candy until the next occasion when The Great Pumpkirus and/or Pumpkiru Jr.s will show up again.

A return of Pumpkiru is definitely planned for October 2019. Any irregular appearances of these NPCs, if they should ever happen, will most likely be announced on the official Creativerse Steam forums, on Twitter and most likely also ingame on the main game screen before entering a game world.

How to obtain[]

Pumpkiru Candy could be obtained by:

  • killing white Ghost Creatures that appear at night only during Halloween-event-teimes for 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy that they very often dropped in their Ghost Loot bags in 2018, but only rarely dropped any Loot Bags in 2017
  • successfully completing Idol Events that could and still can immediately be started by placing Haunted Idols, Infused Haunted Idols and/or Unleashed Haunted Idols
  • looting the Ghost Loot Bags that red ghostly Idol event Creatures will occasionally drop during Idol Events
  • or receiving this candy from other players, since these items can be stored - of course only on the specific game worlds where fellow players have stored Pumpkiru Candy

In 2017, it was also possible to obtain a significant amount of Pumpkiru Candy by claiming the reward bundles of Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign (Candy Thief Reward, Candy Thief Accolade and Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty).

In 2018, random redemption Codes provided players with additional Pumpkiru Candy as well.

Ghost Creatures[]

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign from October to November, Ghost Pigsies, Ghost Leafies, Ghost Rocksters and Ghost Chizzards appeared every ingame night on the surface of all Creativerse game worlds in dark places on solid natural blocks, and Ghost Mirus rarely spawned at night in Caves, mainly on the Stalactite layer.

Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign lasted from October 18th to November 15th in 2017, and from October 24th to November 14th in 2018.

All Ghost Creatures are unresisting flight animals that would only spawn naturally during Halloween event-times and could be hunted (killed) in order for them to drop Ghost Loot bags that would very rarely contain only one Haunted Idol, but would most often contain 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy and an assortment of random useful items like consumables.

Ghost Creatures require 3 hits with any melee weapon to be killed, even by Twigs that do not lose any durability. Since 2018, Ghost Creatures can be tamed, and will then ask for Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite Food. Only if pets are fed their exact favorite type of Food, they will provide players with the best pet-harvest. In the case of Ghost Creatures, their pet-harvest will consist of the same animal materials and occasional blocks that their common relatives provide.

Idol Events[]

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign, Haunted Idols could be obtained from Idol Login Chests and Ghost Loot Bags dropped from Ghost Creatures. Only in 2018, Ghost Creatures would occasionally also drop Haunted Idols when killed. Idol Login Chests and Ghost Creatures would only available during Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign that ran from October 18th 2017 to November 15th 2017 and again from October 24th 2018 to November 14th 2018.

All types of Idols could be stored and can still be used throughout the year.

Haunted Idols can be placed to immediately summon red colored aggressive large Creatures that have to be defeated (killed).

The specific event goals for Idol Events can differ and are described via onscreen messages. Usually either a "Boss" Creature or waves of aggressive large red colored Creatures (Eidoleafies, Polturpigsies, Hauntsters, Poultrygeists) has to be killed, or in other cases, several summoned red ghostly Creatures (Wraithworms) have to be killed within a certain timespan.

Each participating player usually obtains a ghostly Haunted Ghost Treasure reward chest after the Idol Event Creatures have been defeated successfully (within the set timespan). Additionally, the red ghostly Idol Event Creatures will also sometimes drop Ghost Loot Bags with 1-2 Pumpkiru Candy and useful items inside.

The Haunted Ghost Treasure reward chest for this Idol event contains Pumpkiru Candy and other useful stuff like consumables, plus very often also 1 Infused Haunted Idol.

Infused Haunted Idols can then be placed to immediately summon even stronger Creatures that have to be defeated during tier 2 Idol Events. Only in 2017, Infused Haunted Idols could also optionally additionally be bought from the Store for Coins and obtained via Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign.

Creatures summoned by Infused Haunted Idols now include Mirghouls, Dustevils, Clarice and Soulkeepas. Very rarely, ghostly loot chests with Pumpkiru Candy and other useful items inside will spawn that can be emptied within a very short timespan. After Soulkeepa events, no Ghost Treasure reward chest will appear, instead players can find quite a lot of Pumpkiru Candy and useful items in Ghost Loot Bags of Soulkeepas, rarely even Infused Haunted Idols too.

The Infused Ghost Treasure reward chest for Infused Haunted Idol events contains even more Pumpkiru Candy and random useful stuff, as well as very often 1 Unleashed Haunted Idol.

Unleashed Idols can once more be placed to immediately summon high-tier Creatures to be defeated, or sometimes the Idol itself will be "defective" and spawn several red ghostly Creatures in waves until the Idol is destroyed. Creatures summoned with Unleashed Idols will now include W'urm and Th'ang. At very rare occasions, ghostly loot chests can again appear for a few seconds to be collected as a variation to the usual event types, and at other times Soulkeepas will spawn in much higher numbers than during low-tier Idol Events.

The rewards found in Unleashed Ghost Treasure chests that appear after successfully completing Unleashed Idol events contain even more Pumpkiru Candy and useful items, but usually will not include any Idols.

Red ghostly Idol Event Creatures require several more hits to be killed than white Ghost Creatures. The special thing about Idol Event Creatures is that they will not reduce the durability of any melee Weapons used against them.

Another speciality is that Idol Event Creatures require the exact number of hits with Obsidian Swords, Iron Swords, Diamond Swords and Lumite Swords as well as other weapons that are at least as strong as Obsidian Swords or stronger. Weaker weapons like Twigs, Wood Swords and Stone Swords are a lot more ineffective against these Idol Event Creatures though, different from white Ghost Creatures.

Since 2018, these strong red ghostly Idol Event Creatures can be tamed, and will then ask for Pumpkiru Candy as their favorite Food. Again, only if pets are fed their exact favorite type of Food, they will provide players with the best pet-harvest. The pet-harvest of red ghostly Idol Event Creatures consists of the same animal materials, occasional blocks and items that their common relatives provide.

Pumpkiru's Community Candy Campaign 2017[]

During Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign from October 18th 2017 to November 15th 2017, the first community campaign of Creativerse became available. The second Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign in 2018 did not repeat this special community event though.

Whenever a Creativerse player completed one of the event challenges that could be initiated by placing Idols, the game counted this victory and displayed the rising number on a slider to be found in the bottom right corner on the game main screen and on top of the ingame screen right above the inventory window. As soon as certain milestones were reached by the Creativerse player community, certain reward bundles could then be claimed by all players.

  • After the slider had reached 250.000, the Candy Thief Reward could be claimed by clicking on the left pumpkin icon on the slider either on the main game screen or ingame after opening the inventory. Players could claim this bundle until November 15th 2017 on any game world from their inventory and then received a one-way storage container that looked like a stack of crates and contained the rewards. The crafting recipe for the Pumpkin Chest (a storage container with 36 slots) from this reward was automatically added to the crafting menu (on all game worlds); there was no recipe book or page for it that could be shared with other players. However, a relog was sometimes necessary because the recipe didn't always show up in the crafting menu right away
  • After the slider had reached 1,000,000, the Candy Thief Accolade could be unlocked until November 15th 2017 by clicking on the pumpkin icon in the middle of the slider. It included another item bundle as well as one more non-tradeable exclusive Halloween-themed crafting recipe - for the Royal Pumpkin Chest (which also has 36 slots)
  • After the slider had also already reached 1,500,000, the Ultimate Candy Thief Bounty could be unlocked until November 15th 2017 by clicking on the right pumpkin icon. It included several non-tradeable Halloween-themed crafting recipes this time: Pumpkiru's King Chest, Candy Skull Candles, Blue Candy Skull Candle, Red Candy Skull Candle and Yellow Candy Skull Candle

How to use[]

Pumpkiru Candy can be consumed for healing purposes from any slot in your quickbar by selecting this quickslog clicking your right mouse button or by typing the number of the according quickslot twice - just like for consuming any other consumables, throwing Explosives or placing blocks.

Only one Candy of a full stack will be consumed then, a healing effect over time will begin that will last for 15 seconds and a short cooldown will prevent you from accidentally using up a second Pumpkiru Candy right away. Pumpkiru Candy has the same healing properties as any type of Mushrooms. It can be used at the same time as any other health regeneration consumables and means.

Pumpkiru Candy cannot be placed directly into the game world, but it can be put on display in/on display containers like Stone Wall Shelves, Hidden Temple Altars, Placemats, Frozen Containers, Galactic Grav-Chambers, Snow Buried Containers, Holiday Decorative Trees and the like for decoration purposes.

Pumpkiru Candy can be given to tamed Ghost Creatures and Idol Event Creatures as Food by opening their Pet Window and either using right-click on the Pumpkiru Candy in your bag (or quickbar) or by dragging (a stack of) Pumpkiru Candy with the left mouse button over the Pet Window and dropping it there. Only one Pumpkiru Candy will be fed to the Pet by this. After the Pet has digested the Food, it can then be harvested by pulling it with the ArcTek Gauntlet like when taking or mining any block.

Pumpkiru Candy could also be given as a Trade Item in order to buy Halloween-themed items, Costumes and/or rare seasonal Recipes to The Great Pumpkirus and Pumpkiru Jr.s that would only spawn at night on solid natural blocks on the surface of each Creativerse game world while the Halloween event was ongoing from October to November.

The Great Pumpkiru and his son, Pumpkiru Jr. were both indicated by the same symbol that resembles the reddish orange face of The Great Pumpkiru with his top hat and a green circle (perhaps the straps made of vines that help him carry a chest on his back). Since they are Night Creatures, both Pumpkirus will burst into blue flames when being hit by sunlight (usually starting around 5:12 AM).

Players could activate Pumpkirus like Pets, Storage Chests, Crafting Stations, Doors etc. by right-click and could then click on an item, Costume or Recipe that they desired which would automatically trade and reduce in the respective required amount of Pumpkiru Candy.

The Pumpkirus claim that Pumpkiru Candy has been stolen from The Great Pumpkiru, and both Pumpkirus ask players to return the candy by fighting Ghost Creatures and the aggressive reddish ghostly Creatures that can be summoned by placing Idols (Haunted Idols, Infused Haunted Idols and Unleashed Haunted Idols).

However, when players provide The Great Pumpkiru or Pumpkiru Jr. with said candy, both Pumpkirus will simply eat them right away. Even though Pumpkiru Jr. claims that he is helping his father with collecting Pumpkin Candy, he will also eat the candy that players give to him instead too. At least both Pumpkirus will reward players with their wares.

When interacting with The Great Pumpkiru or Pumpkiru Jr., a trade menu will be brought up. The trade menu has a comment from the Pumpkiru next to it, and different TABs with icons on top that you can choose from: "Featured", "Recipes" and "Items". Buying items or receiving them from other players will not unlock their crafting recipes.

Neither the offers nor their price can be changed by players. Both Pumpkirus offer the same wares for the exact same amount of Pumpkiru Candy. Multiple Great Pumpkirus and Pumpkiru Jr.s spawn at night during event-times, but each of them will present the same offers for a fixed price of Pumpkiru Candy.

Featured[]

Some offers could only be bought once from Pumpkirus in the TAB "Featured":

Whenever players would buy one of these offers, they would vanish from the Pumpkirus' list of offers for these players (Steam account-bound).

Trivia[]

In 2017, Pumpkirus would trade special animated treasure chests that were filled with more or less rare Halloween-items (the more expensive treasure chests always contained more rare items) and even Halloween-themed rare crafting Recipes.

Only Pumpkiru's King Treasure that could be "bought" with 100 Pumpkiru Candy contained random rare crafting Recipes for Halloween-themed items for sure though, while Royal Pumpkin Treasure chests only had a chance of obtaining an Halloween recipe, but sometimes do not. Pumpkin Treasure chests were cheap, but only ever contained random items.

Only few Pumpkirus would offer Pumpkiru's King Treasures right away, so it was necessary to search the land for suitable Pumpkirus if players did not want to wast any Candy on low tier Pumpkin Treasure chests that only contained common Halloween items, but no crafting recipes and only rarely Marigold Potions, but never Bat Juice - both of these very rare potions could and still can not be crafted.
