Basic Information[]
Black Top Hats are accessory items in Creativerse that can occasionally be found in randomly spawning Treasure Chests and can only be worn by Pets (tamed Creatures).
These accessories are the most common pet hat types. They do not stack. A Top Hat for players can be bought as the Costume "Pumpkiru’s Top Hat" in the Store - the hat can be adjusted/changed in color too.
Top Hats for Creatures can only come in 4 fixed colors: black, red, blue and yellow. This article is only about the first Top Hat type that was implemented in Creativerse; the black colored variant.
How to obtain[]
Currently, Top Hats for Pets are random findings in Wood Treasure Chests, Stone Treasure Chests, Obsidian Treasure Chests, Iron Treasure Chests and Diamond Treasure Chests. The black Top Hat is the most common variant of all 4 Top Hat types.
Top Hats for Creatures cannot be obtained in any other way.
These chests randomly spawn on different layers of any Creativerse game world in dark places in a certain proximity around player characters. The ones on the surface Wood Treasure Chests only spawn at night though.
How to use[]
To dress up a Pet of yours (or Pets of other players that you are allowed to access), open the Pet window by using right-click or "f" (default key) while looking at the Pet with your cursor.
Then right-click on any accessory that you have found and that you are currently carrying in your inventory (can't be placed into quickslots) in order to automatically move it into the correct accessory slot of the Pet.
If you "dismiss" a Pet, all its accessories will be dropped in its Loot Bag. However, if a Pet should go missing, the accessory will be lost together with the Pet, so be careful to only set your Pets to "wander" in closed up stables.
Player Hats[]
Player characters can wear Hats too, but not the ones that have been "made" for Pets, instead special player hats can be bought as Costumes in the Store for Coins. There's a Top Hat for players in the Store, it's called Pumpkiru’s Top Hat.
