Overview[]
The ocean is a large Biome in the world of Creativerse that can border on any other biome, though large areas of Ice ("frozen ocean"), Jungle, Swamplands and Canyon are most common.
Oceans consist mainly of Water and Sand, with large underwater growths of Coral appearing in the open ocean. Occasional sandy islands dot the horizon. Driftwood can often be found lying at the bottom of the ocean.
The only fauna can be found close to Shore. Rocksters (and their night variant) and Pebbles are a frequent sight, Blizzard Chizzards and at night Arctic Mirus spawn on frozen ocean biomes. Nothing spawns in the open ocean yet (as of R42 in May 2017).
Whilst submerged, players will notice an air gauge. When it reaches maximum, players will start to drown, much like what would usually happen in Water. As of R42 (May 2017), the time you can spend underwater was doubled to about 30 seconds.
Trivia[]
- Due to the nature of the temperature system in Creativerse, hopping into the ocean whilst freezing in cold places (such as ice caps) is a very good idea. You will not freeze to death while in the water. The ocean counts as a "fossil" layer with a temperature of about 59°.
- It is not possible to use a glider out of the water, you will need to build a platform (1 block is enough) in order to take off.
