This is an aggressive variant of Chizzards that can be found in the Corruption Layer and will spawn on any kind of "natural" solid corrupted block (including corrupted leaves and corrupted grass that only players can produce).

Corrupted Chizzards can only spawn in darkness during day and night, but will not be hurt by sunlight.
Mineral Water, Healing Beacons and Purification Bombs can kill these Creatures (like all Corrupted Creatures), and they are able to take drown damage too. They will drop Loot Bags in this case too.
And just like their fellow kindred: Chizzard, Blizzard Chizzard (Only Blizzard Chizzard Eggs, though) and - Night Chizzard; the Corrupted Chizzard is capable of containing Chizzard eggs within it's harvest as a pet.
You can obtain different materials and things from this Chizzard, either by killing it or taming it and harvesting from it after it has become your Pet:
(Commonly) Corruption Dust , Sinews , Feathers, Bones, (Uncommonly) Poultry Parts, (Rare) Coins,
And on rarer occasions it will drop the following: Shorewood, Shorewood husks, Shorewood Leaves, Driftwood, Seashells and Coral
You will acquire 3 times as much materials as a pet-harvest than you could obtain as a loot when killing Corrupted Chizzards, but only after you have fed your Corrupted Chizzard Pet its exact favorite type of Food.
According to Playful, Corrupted Chizzards have 500 health points and based on tests, they require 72 hits with a Twig, 50 hits with a Wood Sword, also 50 hits with a Stone Sword, 25 hits with an Obsidian Sword, 17 hits with an Iron Sword, 15 hits with a Diamond Sword or 10 hits with a Lumite Sword to be killed.
It seems like Corrupted Chizzards have 250 armor points.
Corrupted Chizzards deal 100 damage to a player equipped with a full set of Lumite Armor.
Taming time for the Corrupted Chizzard and all other Corrupted Creatures other than the Thing is 25 seconds.
These are rare recipes you can obtain only from that of tamed Corrupted Chizzards. There is a 0.1 chance of obtaining them. You cannot receive these recipes as drops from killing or dismissing Corrupted Chizzards. The player can setup a Rancher Villager in the same chunk as their pet Corrupted Chizzards and increase the chances of receiving such recipes (You can learn more about chunks here: https://steamcommunity.com).
