Canvas Stairs Outer Corner is a pure white stair outer corner building block that has a very smooth, almost non-existent texture. It is made from Canvas Stairs in a Processor.
How to obtain[]
Despite the item description saying Canvas Stairs Outer Corner are crafted, they are actually made in the Processor. You can obtain 2 Canvas Stairs Outer Corners by putting one block of Canvas Stairs into a Processor. No crafting recipes are required for this. Simply carry Canvas Stairs with you in your inventory and activate a Processor that has been placed into the world with right-click or "f" (as the default key) while pointing the cursor at the Processor. Then select the shape that you want the Processor to cut the Canvas Stairs into. You can also obtain it by buying a building kit for a Blueprint that contains Canvas Stairs Outer Corners.
How to use[]
Canvas Stairs Outer Corners can be placed into the game world for building purposes by putting (a stack of) them into your quickbar, selecting the according quickslot and clicking the right mouse button while pointing at a spot in the game world with your cursor. When placed as common stairs, each Stairs block will smooth the player character's movement up and down gradients so no jumping will be necessary to overcome the height of one block.
Like all other building blocks, Canvas Stairs Outer Corners can be rotated into all directions by pressing and holding R and then pointing the mouse cursor at the block and moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button.
The chosen rotation angle can be "locked" too by simply typing "r" while looking at an already rotated object or block; then all items of the same stack in the selected quickslot will automatically be facing the same direction when placed.
Due to its light color and non-existent texture, Canvas Stairs Outer Corners are ideally suited for painting. They are only affected by the primary color of the palette.
You won't need any Power Cells (Mining Cell) to pick up blocks of Canvas Stairs Outer Corners that have been placed into the game world. Of course you won't be able to pick up such objects on game worlds, on player claims or in Adventures where your Permission rank is not sufficient (mainly when you are merely a visitor), which can only be changed by the owner of the game world, claim owner or Adventure creator.
