Canvas Flower painted with Chocolate/Navy Blue

Basic information[]

The Canvas Flower is a decorative crafted flower block. They are not solid (no collision mesh), so player characters and Creatures can pass through them.

A bunch of Canvas Flowers is less high than one block, but slightly more salient than a block in width, and consists of an arrangement of 9 flowers - 4 smaller ones and 5 larger ones, with one of the larger ones in the middle and one particularly large one at a corner. Each of these funnel-shaped flowers features a wedge-shaped yellow pistil and 5 lanceolate white/grey flower petals. These flowers have very small leaves attached to their stems.

The Canvas Flower uses the same model as the Tundra Flower, except the flowers are white instead of red.

How to obtain[]

Canvas Flowers can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (to be opened by pressing "q" as the default key). The crafting recipe is unlocked from the start. You can also obtain it by buying a building kit for a Blueprint that contains Canvas Flowers.

How to craft[]

To craft 8 Canvas Flowers, you'll need:

How to use[]

Canvas Flowers can be placed into the game world for building purposes by putting (a stack of) them into your quickbar, selecting the according quickslot and clicking the right mouse button while pointing at a spot in the game world with your cursor.

Like most other placeable blocks, Canvas Flowers can be rotated into all directions by pressing and holding R and then pointing the mouse cursor at the block and moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button.

The chosen rotation angle can be "locked" too by simply typing "r" while looking at an already rotated object or block; then all items of the same stack in the selected quickslot will automatically be facing the same direction when placed.

Due to its light color, Canvas Flowers are well-suited for painting. The primary color affects the petals, and the secondary color affects a small circle in the middle of the flower.

You won't need any Power Cells (Mining Cell) to pick up blocks of Canvas Flowers that have been placed into the game world. Of course you won't be able to pick up such objects on game worlds, on player claims or in Adventures where your Permission rank is not sufficient (mainly when you are merely a visitor), which can only be changed by the owner of the game world, claim owner or Adventure creator.
