Basic information[]
The Atlantis Chair is a usable and decorative piece of furniture that can be activated to make your player character sit down. It looks made of off-white stone with a light blue backrest decorated with a yellow diamond. It is part of the Atlantis Bonus Bundle in the Store.
Sitting will not heal your player character and will not help skipping day or night - only sleeping in any kind of Bed will have both of these effects.
How to obtain[]
Atlantis Chairs can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (to be opened by pressing "q" as the default key), but only after the according crafting recipe has been unlocked by buying the Atlantis Bonus Bundle from the Store. You can also obtain it by buying a building kit for a Blueprint that contains Atlantis Chairs.
How to unlock the crafting recipe[]
The crafting recipe for Atlantis Chair can be unlocked by buying the Atlantis Bonus Bundle from the Store. There is no other way to obtain the recipe.
How to craft[]
To craft one Atlantis Chair, you'll need:
- 1 Stone Slab made in a Processor from Stone, Limestone or Bedrock
- 4 Stone Rod made in a Processor from Stone, Limestone or Bedrock
- 1 Scales obtained from Karrotfish
- 1 Melted Wax obtained by melting Beeswax in a Forge, or from Treasure Chests
How to use[]
To use Atlantis Chairs, place them into the game world and activate them by pointing your cursor at them and either clicking your right mouse button or pressing "f" as the default button. Tables placed in front of the chair won't block the seating animation - your player-character will sit down properly at the table. You'll then see your player character from 3rd person view while the character remains seated.
In order to stand up again, simply use the key for going forward ("w" as the default key).
Atlantis Chairs can be fully rotated in all directions by pressing and holding R and moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button. The chosen rotation angle can then be "locked" too by simply typing "r" while pointing the cursor at an rotated item or block, then all items of the selected stack in the quickbar will face the same direction when placed.
You can use Atlantis Chairs even after rotating them or placing them against a wall or ceiling, however graphic glitches or displacements might happen when player characters sit down on or stand up from a chair that is placed sideways or upside down.
Like most other placeable objects, Atlantis Chairs can be painted, with the primary color influencing the chair and backrest diamond color, and the secondary color influencing backrest color. They can also be put into displays, where they will be shown at a reduced size.
You won't need any Power Cells (Mining Cell) to pick up Atlantis Chairs that have been placed into the game world. Of course you won't be able to pick up such objects on game worlds, on player claims or in Adventures where your Permission rank is not sufficient (mainly when you are merely a visitor), which can only be changed by the owner of the game world, claim owner or Adventure creator.
